Microbial Remediation
Many organisms found in the indoor environment
can be highly toxic. For this reason, the EPA has recommended that
significant microbial remediation be handled only by professionals.
ATI has the expertise and experience necessary to effectively remediate
microbial problems which may contaminate indoor air. This process
includes:
- Containing the affected area
- Placing the area under negative pressure
- Ensuring that technicians are equipped with
appropriate clothing and respirators
- Removing the source of the contamination
- Drying the area
- HEPA-vacuuming the area
- Removing non-restorable materials
- Sanitizing non-porous materials and surfaces
- Reconstructing, when requested
